How our fees work.

We always aim to provide fair and transparent fees for all cases. For this reason we price each case individually.

Firstly, we have a chat with you about the case and work out how long it will take to complete. This will take around 20 minutes, and gives our clients a useful summary of their case. In fact, because this is phone call is a consultation without any form of obligation, it in effect gives the client 20 minutes free advice!

We then advise you on how much it will be and at the same time, what your prospects of success are.

You can then decide if you wish to go ahead or not.

Some clients, at this point take up a fixed fee consultation. This allows clients to come in and meet us before they commit to taking us on as their lawyers.

Our consultation fees are for a 1hr30 minute consultation and cost 125 pounds. Certain cases, by prior appointment can have the first 20 minutes for free.

Of course, the consultation fee will be reduced from the final fee, so one global fee is paid.

How Westkin takes payments.

Westkin takes payment by bank transfer, cheque or cash. All payments are receipted by a credit note. Westkin takes all payments into a client account where they remain the clients money until the work is completed. This provides complete piece of mind for a client. They know that there money is being held on trust whilst the work is being completed and can be returned at anytime, minus the work completed within 3 working days.
